Miyu Yamamoto

PROFILE

Joined BNV in Nov. 2023, focusing on open innovation and acceleration, with the goal of creating a society where appropriate funding is provided to academia, enabling Japanese researchers to build real world applications for their research. Prior to BNV, Miyu was involved in projects such as promoting industry-academia-government collaboration, supporting startups, and assisting in the development of new ventures in the medical and energy sectors at Nomura Research Institute. She also had a part-time role at the research and development startup BIOTA, engaging in R&D, securing and managing grants, and participating in talent acquisition. Completed graduate studies at the Department of Earth and Planetary Environmental Science at the University of Tokyo.
