PROFILE

Ayako studied supply chain management and customer satisfaction at university. In April 2021, she joined SMBC Nikko Securities’ Investment Banking Division, where she supported M&A and fundraising execution, mainly for financial institutions. She joined Beyond Next Ventures as a Venture Capitalist in December 2024. Passionate about creating a world where researchers and engineers are more fairly rewarded, she aims to channel risk capital into the right sectors. She holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
