Tomoki Takeda

PROFILE

At the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University, Tomoki has researched the use of microorganisms to produce pharmaceuticals, specializing in synthetic biology. Awarded a JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC1). Joined Beyond Next Ventures in April 2026, focusing primarily on biotechnology and covering everything from sourcing research-driven startups to investment and hands-on growth support. As a translator between science and the market, he hopes to build a society where research continually gives rise to new ventures. Holds a Master's degree from the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University.
